The unit hosted generation is billed in. Every step a hosted film takes — the agents researching, planning and building it, the frames rendered to review it, the final render, and any AI voice or imagery you ask for — is measured at what it actually cost and charged in credits. You see the running total while the film is being made.
It depends on the site and how much you ask for. A typical 30-second film on the Standard model uses a few thousand credits; Premium uses more. AI voice, images and video are off unless you turn them on, and are only used where your instructions ask for them.
The film stops where it is and waits — nothing is lost. Add credits and it carries on from the same step.
No — each renewal resets the allowance to your plan’s. Credits you buy as a pack never expire, and are only used once the month’s allowance runs out.
Yes. The CLI runs on your own coding agent subscription (Claude Code or Codex) and renders on your machine, so it uses no credits. The free plan gives it a number of renders and edits a month; any paid plan makes it unlimited.
From the billing portal on your account page, any time. An upgrade adds the difference in credits straight away; a downgrade or a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
